Uncover the artistry and passion behind each bottle, and explore what makes this limited-release vintage so exceptional. We’re lifting the lid on our luxurious, limited-release Rosé de Noirs.
A celebration of fruit flavours and finesse, Ridgeview’s Rosé de Noirs radiates with a vibrant peach-gold hue. Fragrant notes of redcurrant, summer berries, and honey entice the senses, leading to a palate bursting with bright strawberries and cherries.
Subtle hints of orange, cranberry, and biscuit add layers of intrigue, while a soft, creamy texture and rounded mouthfeel create a beautifully balanced finish that lingers long after each sip.
“I look for lots of black cherry, redcurrant and strawberry notes with a savouriness that comes with really ripe pinots. After three years ageing on lees, our Rosé de Noirs develops an enticing spectrum of flavour, aroma and texture. It’s a total delight to drink.”
– Simon Roberts, Head Winemaker
An enigmatic expression of winemaking expertise, Ridgeview Rosé de Noirs is made using our Head Winemaker’s unique interpretation of the traditional saignée method (meaning ‘to bleed’).
It all starts with our ripest Pinot fruit, the last grapes that we pick during harvest. They rest in crates overnight, and the following day, before we load them into the press to sit on whole bunches, in contact with skin and seeds.
This is all about extracting that magical rosé colour and a depth of flavour found only in the finest of Rosé de Noirs bottlings. Once the juice strikes a perfect balance between character and colour – we begin to press.
Shop Rosé de NoirsHistorically, the saignée method leaves the grapes to sit for far longer, but we extract juice just as the fermentation begins. This is what sets Ridgeview’s Rosé de Noirs apart; it produces a far fresher, lighter and elegant sparkling rosé that dances on the palate. Each limited edition release is treated as a delicacy at Ridgeview and produced only in the very best vintage years.
Considered a jewel in the crown of a winemaker’s portfolio, rosé is a window into the quality and character of the craftsman.
“Rosé de Noirs is a joy to make. As a winemaker, you have so much artistic influence on the end result. The decisions you make at each stage of the journey define the wine’s character and it takes many years of experience to master the art.”
Inspired by the illustrious rosé styles from around the world, Ridgeview Rosé de Noirs elegantly balances depth with delicacy. Refreshingly crisp, fragrant and fruit-driven it is a delightfully versatile English sparkling wine that delights in different ways throughout the seasons.
A standout sparkling wine for summer celebrations, Rosé de Noirs brings so much to the table when it comes to cuisine. Not only delightful with dessert, there are food pairing gems to be found well beyond pudding. Culinary companions include fragrant Thai dishes, smoky barbeque flavours and a bold beetroot tartar.
