Expressions of Chardonnay: OurView Winemakers Dinner

Join us for an intimate evening exclusively for OurView members, celebrating 30 years of Ridgeview’s heritage chardonnay vineyard. Hosted at The Rows & Vine restaurant at Ridgeview, this is a rare opportunity to share an evening with our Head Winemaker, Simon Roberts, who will share unique insights into how his family founded Ridgeview, and helped shape the English sparkling wine industry as we know it.

Throughout the evening, Simon will guide you through three of Ridgeview’s remarkable Chardonnay expressions, offering exclusive insights into their evolution from base wines through to the final expression in your glass.

You’ll explore:

Our debut Still Chardonnay – a deliciously food-friendly landmark release, inviting you to experience Ridgeview in a way you’ve never tasted before.
Blanc de Blancs 2020 – a highly anticipated new vintage release, crafted exclusively from Ridgeview estate-grown chardonnay, capturing the purity and character of our terroir and our heritage vines. While some members have already had a first taste through our recent exclusive OurView Trio and Duo, you’ll still be among the very first to experience it in its full glory, with insider insights from Simon before its public release.
Oak Reserve – a rare, late-disgorged wine from Simon’s personal portfolio of handcrafted, esoteric wines, revealing the depth and complexity that extended ageing brings.

Each wine will be thoughtfully paired with dishes from our new wine-led menu, curated by our Head Chef to showcase chardonnay’s extraordinary versatility with food. Expect exceptional food, wine and a joyful evening of celebration.
